Single rainbow all the way!

If you haven’t seen the ridiculously popular double rainbow video, go check it out first and then come back to appreciate these tweets. There were a few rainbows – of the single and double variety – spotted in Southern California over the past two days. Some photo-sharing Twitter users made reference to the aforementioned video. Let’s start with Jordan Cathey (@jscathey) of Rancho Cucamonga who summarized it best when she tweeted “single rainbow across the sky, almost a double rainbow! So intense and vivid. What does this mean?!” and posted this picture.

Two foggy days in Californ-i-a

Southern Californians are used to a marine layer along the coast, but full-blown fog is rare enough that we whip out our cellies to take pix and tweet them to the world. Just last night, Kevin (kevie) C from San Marcos shared this haunting image of “super thick fog downtown la pretty sweet.” Oh, and if you’re wondering about the title of this blog post, just Google it.
