Haunted Mansion kicks off weekly Disneyland feature

When I shared pictures from Disneyland last week, I joked that so many images are tweeted from the purported happiest place on Earth — no, not Denmark — that they could fund daily blog posts. Well, with some gentle nudging from a friend, I present the first of weekly Disneyland Resort blog posts. With Halloween just around the corner, let’s start with The Haunted Mansion and this shot from Michelle McEvoy of Los Angeles.

Lansner tweets a visual hello from Disneyland

So many pictures are tweeted from Disneyland all the time that I could post a collection like this every day. So what makes today special? Well, my friend Jon Lansner is at the Anaheim theme park, and he sent me this “Hi from Disneyland! Looking at water show install at Cal Adventure!”

Firework photos tweeted from Santa Monica Pier and Disneyland

The Santa Monica Pier celebrated its 100th birthday Wednesday and Southern Californians shot and tweeted pictures of the fireworks that lit up the coastal skyline that night. (Here are photos from the L.A. Times.) Down in Anaheim, users regularly share images of the fireworks from Disneyland.
