Crewest calls itself “Downtown LA’s premier graffiti gallery.” Its director, Man One (@crewest), is an artist himself and is all over social media. I heard about his art, and the gallery, when Man One shared this piece on Twitter during a recent trip to Monterey Bay. You can see art from Crewest, and more of Man One’s work, on his Flickr page. West Hollywood twitter user @spykitten, who describes herself as “Pinup model, muse, politics junkie, writer, aspiring burlesque performer, artist, singer, lover, dreamer, achiever, rebel, leader, gamer, zombie slayer,” posted this image of “one of the most amazing art galleries she had ever seen. The gallery she was talking about was H. Studio by Shlomi Haziza in Sun Valley (find them on Twitter @H_Studio). Apparently, they hosted a group photographic art exhibition over the weekend. We don’t have any pictures from that, but here is the loungy piece that grabbed my attention.
