Beverly Hills is ready for the holidays

It’s been a while since I’ve highlighted a Southern California community on 140pix, so here are some tweeted pictures from Beverly Hills. Apparently, the city has caught the holiday spirit. L.A.’s Rachel posted this picture and tweeted, “this sign in Beverly Hills just made me lol a lot”

Downtown L.A., a collection of Twitter pictures

Downtown serves as the center of most cities, but in Los Angeles downtown serves as the center of a large county. It’s a center full of art, architecture and of course, film shoots. Here are six downtown images that Ela Kitapci shared in one tweet on October 5. “Downtown LA. I like to hang back.”

Silver Lake, a collection of Twitter pictures

The Silver Lake area of Los Angeles often plays the eclectic background to various musical venues. I was hoping to catch some images of those venues on Twitter. Instead, I ran across two boots, chicken and the appreciation of building design. On October4 Take Sunset shared this picture of “Schindler’s McAlmon house on Waverly in Silver Lake. #architecture”
