The ABCs of virtual graffiti

Yesterday, I shared a picture of L.A. dressed up as N.Y.. Will Batts (hiphopxyz), the man who posted that picture on Twitter, is also a virtual graffiti artist. He uses software to add what looks like graffiti to pictures that he takes from “across the globe.” He told me that this first shot is of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Scroll down for more of his virtual graff art and visit Batts’ MySpace page to find out about his “Hip Hop XYZ” album.

No idle hands for this designer

If the saying is true and idle hands really are the devil’s workshop, then San Diego graphic designer Bryant Wieczorek (@IamNotaMachine) has nothing to worry about. One day last week, after creating this poster, he decided to “run with the hand and fist drawings” and turned them into the two paintings that you see below.

Jack, in the box and on wood

I caught this final product from Los Angeles graphic designer Allison Revilla when she tweeted that she was finished with the project. Like many artists, Revilla shared a picture of the work before it was completed. She even posted a close-up of the clown’s sad, knotted face. If you like this piece, make sure to visit Allison Revilla’s web site.
