Purplephant places Aubrey O’Day on the wrong way

Purplephant Designs (@purple_phant) turn street signs into “exclusive respect” for public figures. The Los Angeles-based Purplephant tweeted that they finished this @aubreyoday sign on March 10. To fully appreciate this work, you really need to see the Aubrey O’Day picture and wrong way street sign they combined to make the piece you see here. They’ve also documented their process in a video that shows the creation of a Ke$ha street sign. If you like what you see here, make sure to visit the Purplephant blog.

Freedom found at Writers Block in San Diego

Who do you think posted this picture of graffiti art in San Diego? If you answered Youth Minister D.J. Iverson, you would be right. He spotted this piece, which he refers to as “Freedom”, at the Writers Block. Don’t worry, this man of religion is not condoning illegal activity here. Iverson says the Block is a totally legal place to paint. He posts more pictures like this, and other “ramblings”, on his Mac-powered djiverson.com. If you want to see more pictures from the Writers Block, make sure to visit this feature on Best San Diego and more on TrendyInk.com.
