“Chabadites” from photo to painting and back again

Every Friday, an elderly member of the Chabad movement stops by painter Macey Lipman’s Beverly Hills gallery. One day, the visitor brought along two “young brethren” whom Lipman found visually interesting. He captured the pair in a picture and posted it on his Facebook page, asking his fans for input.

Lipman eventually used that photograph to create a painting that he debuted on Twitter a few days ago. If you like this piece, make sure to follow Macey Lipman on Twitter @Maceylipmanart and become his fan on Facebook.
