Photographer and graphic designer Charon Simmons owns GrayStone Design in Mission Vejo. This picture is his “first wide-view, telephoto lens shot of many.” Simmons identifies the structure as a hangar at the Tustin Marine Base. If you like this shot, check out more of Simmons’ photographs and read more about Simmons.

What you see below is not an instrument for the latest guitarist from Lilliput. No, it’s Amanda Lightner’s piece of paper art made for Tomo Milicevic (@tomofromearth) of Thirty Seconds to Mars (@30secondstomars). Amanda is a self-proclaimed hippie and rocker from Fullerton. She’s obviously a fan of the band. If you like her work, make sure to check out the band at thirtysecondstomars.com or on MySpace Music.

Hipstergeeeks might get excited over the newest web 5.0-enabled mobile device, but it was the chance to capture this old phone in a picture that recently elicited this exclamation from Samantha Rebuyaco on Twitter: “Yesss, I finally get to use this phone in a shoot!” Make sure to check out her other great work in Rebuyaco’s Flickr photostream.
