California sunsets, volume 2

You’ll have to excuse the visual monotony in this collection — not to mention the repitition found in the first collection of California sunsets — but this is something that I just can’t get enough of. Neither can many other Twitter users in Southern California. On September 20, Ladera Ranch’s Josh Elliott summed it up in this perfect equation, “Tonight’s sunset = amazing.”

Racy monkey is best tweet from Angels-Yankees games

My friend Jon suggested I post pictures from the recent Angels-Yankees series, but I was a bit dismayed that almost all the pictures I found were far shots of the diamond. Come on, Southern California tweeting sports fans. Let’s get some variety. The one image that really stood out came from Newport Beach’s JoeSeff, but it had nothing to do with the series. On September 24, he tweeted “SCANDALOUS! new racy photos have emerged featuring the Los Angeles Angels Rally Monkey.”

Images of a foggy week tweeted across SoCal

There’s a fog alert in effect in Orange County as I write this post, but today isn’t the first day that the southland has experienced foggy weather this week. A good mix of misty images have been rolling in from Twitter, like this one from Oxnard’s Brian Filoteo. On September 23 he tweeted “It’s tough to run withought knowing where you’re headed… Damn this fog. Feels good tho.”
