Dogs and cats say goodnight in Twitter pictures

Go to Twitter Search on any night and you’re sure to find the word “goodnight” on the list of trending topics. Here in Southern California, it isn’t unusual for those goodnight tweets to include pictures, some of them featuring feline and canine companions. Here is the small handful I found tonight.

Tweeted from Disney’s D23: Images of Tron, Stitch and more

Disney’s first D23 Expo happened at the Anaheim Convention Center over the weekend. You can find many pictures on the Orange County Register web site Set-Up, day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4 and “best of”. Twitter captures firetruck stuck in sinkhole

In a departure from my usually lighthearted fare, a firetruck found itself stuck in a Valley Village sinkhole last week. As The L.A. Times blogged about the incident, Violet Skyye tweeted pictures from the scene. In my other blog, I ask journalists if they would have retweeted this picture.
