Boutiquing shows one way to promote with Twitter photos

I keep running into these pictures form the ladies over at @Boutiquing. Apparently, they’re putting on a big event soon and using the #BBSale tag when they tweet about it. Other local companies are using Twitter pictures in a similar way, and I’ll be sharing another spooky example soon. By the way, this is not a paid post.

Station Fire clouds tweeted from Lake Elsinore

As the Station Fire rages on, people continue to share images of smoke plumes spotted as far away as Gavilan Hills in Lake Elsinore. For photographs taken by professional journalists, don’t miss the wildfires gallery on Boston.com. If your in O.C., you might want to check out the Orange County Register’s (shameless plug) slideshows of OCFA firefighters battling the fire or displaced dogs taken in by the Irvine Animal Care Center.
